So What Really is BP Powder?

BP Powder is a 100% Pharmaceutical grade Gelatin Surgical Haemostatic Powder, designed to assist with controlling capillary, venous and arteriolar bleeding during surgical procedures. BP Powder has been evaluated across numerous NHS Surgical Settings, including surgery at Royal Bolton Hospital, Cardiothoracic Surgery at Wythenshawe Hospital along with being used in multiple procedures at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. During a CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) 5g of BP Powder was used in order to control the blood flow around the operating area.
